Lackawanna Rail Service to NYC First off, there is currently no rail service from the Poconos to NYC. The proposed plan, which is not estimated to be completed prior to 2007, will terminate at Hoboken unless you transfer at Dover, NJ, for a train into Penn Station. This will not be high speed, and will make multiple stops in NJ. If anyone tells you the train will be here soon, or before 2007, then most likely they are trying to sell you something. Find another vendor.

Port Jervis Rail Service For those in the Milford area who need to reach NYC on a commuter basis, this may be an option for you. Read the forum postings for more info, and please post your own if you currently use this rail line

Martz Trailways Martz provides stations or stops in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Mt Pocono, Tobyhanna, Blakeslee, Brodheadsville, Effort, Stroudsburg, and Delaware Water Gap (DWG) in PA. Additionally, they offer service in NJ at Panther Valley and Hackettstown. There is also some service to Philadelphia, but they are not commuter runs. They also provide charters and tours.
